These terms govern how you may browse, purchase, and share the textile works presented in this catalogue. They are written to keep the relationship between the studio, the weaving workshops, and you as clear as the provenance notes on each piece.
Chaska Studio operates as a curated catalogue of original Andean textiles. We document each piece with its region, technique, and estimated weaving time, and we connect buyers with the artisan workshops that produced it. The studio does not claim authorship of the craft itself; the weavers remain the creators of every work listed here.
When you place an order, you confirm that the delivery address and contact details are accurate. You also agree to use the pieces for personal or interior furnishing purposes, not for resale without written consent from the studio. If you commission a custom piece, the described palette and dimensions are binding once the workshop begins the loom setup.
Each artisan workshop retains the intellectual and cultural rights to its patterns and dyeing methods. By purchasing a textile, you acquire the physical object, not the right to reproduce its motifs commercially. The studio will not share workshop contact details beyond what is needed for delivery and certification.
Natural dyes and hand-spun alpaca fiber vary slightly between batches. These variations are inherent to the craft and are not considered defects. Chaska Studio is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of a textile, nor for delays caused by customs or international shipping once the piece has left the workshop.
We may update these terms as the catalogue grows or as fair trade regulations evolve. Continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the new wording. If you wish to stop using the service, simply close your account or stop placing orders; no further action is required.
For questions about these terms, the certification of a specific piece, or the return of a damaged item, write to info@chaskastudio.com. We respond within five working days and will direct your query to the right person, whether that is the studio manager or the workshop coordinator.
